Finally made it home a couple of hours ago after having my Impreza towed here...get the AAA Premium option! Hanging out with friends on great drives made it all worth it. Thanks to JP, Julie, and Billy for organizing and putting the icing on the cake...see you all in Sept.!

Mike when I heard tank slapper I have to believe you were involved in dirt bike racing/riding at some time? Pam and I really enjoyed talking with you and Sharon at dinner! One IPA (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) for the Ladies coming up. One Stout for the boyz coming up. Cheers (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif)

Great talking to you both, too, Paul! I'd love to have IPAs with you and Pam. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Mike says tank slapper - my description is more like several fishtails in the middle of I-70 on Vail Pass when Mike almost managed to pull it out with some pretty spectacular driving, but ended up doing a 360 and smacked into the median, stopping with the car in the middle of the highway with my door facing the flow of traffic. Mike got the car re-started and out of the way of traffic cool as a cucumber, and kept right on driving. Luckily I had extra undies in my suitcase. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Thankful that you two are okay. Cars can be repaired. People not always so much.

Thanks to everyone(Especially John) for a great weekend.
We made it home Sunday evening after the 914 died on I-40 eastbound due to a wire coming loose from the coil and then the linkage pin worked it's way loose on the shift linkage behind the firewall.

Email your pictures here: r66@914world.com

- Put something meaningful in the subject line of the email
- Any text in the email body is ignored
- Make sure your images aren't too large, 1080 is plenty for a website
- Don't use Apple's proprietary image format, it won't work here. Use JPG instead.
