My father loved the town of Mesquite and wanted to move there from Colorado. I’ve never been there, but it will probably be fun.

Okay, I've got another Subaru guy coming over to help me get my project back on the road, to "flip the script" as you so aptly put it a couple of years ago and start driving. I don't want to drive my daily to another event and I want to make this!

@densible1 - That motor looks very nice. You two always seem to be having a great time. We wish you were both in the Sacramento/Roseville/Auburn area. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |

We wish you were both in the Sacramento/Roseville/Auburn area. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) We had fun with this one. Marks startup video. We rebuilt this 2270 RAT Eng. built by Jake in 2005 that went bad after a several year run. Oiling problem took out a main bearing. We did a full rebuild on heads, Align Bore, Rebuilt rods. Balanced, Clutch. Flywheel machined. New pressure Plate, Everything. The Machinist, George. Said it needed. And there you have it. They put in on there test setup and great oil pressure and George says it sounds go to go to PMB Performance tomorrow. To be installed in. Our 1974 two-liter body with no rust. Sweet. Bob, were you checking the for oil leaks or praying? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) Mark was filming it; I was not worried on anything on this Eng. George the machinist gave perfect direction to us and between the other four-cylinder and six-cylinder engines I've built I kind of new that it would be OK. I've always said the machinist is your best friend. George at http://www.europeanmotorworks.com/ knows what he is doing, and he is 14 minutes from my shop in Inglewood. He does PMBs Eng, and Ian Karr used them and well he is not a kid and has over 30 years’ experience on machining air cooled engines. Much better to have it tested before it gets to Erics at PMB Performance All the video’s like Ian Karrs and even the young Jake Rabie DVD/ CD helped. It was a 2270 so it was just a little different.
