Thanks Jake for chiming in. I assembled the cases all the way out to the cylinder heads over the weekend. I used Loctite 565 in those areas of the case through bolts. It was what was recommended the most based on my searches. Wishing I had read your reply before assembly, but I'm not taking it back apart now. Pushrod tubes are in an OE placement with no mods, but I am using "modern" X-Ring O-Rings at both ends of the tubes.

I am hopeful that with very careful assembly, a change to the case half sealer, the updated X-Rings and more attention to detail that I will have less oil leakage. I am not convinced I will have a dry engine or garage floor.
