Looking to put a female connector on my remote starter button to replace the current spring clamp. Anyone know the size of the tab on the solenoid? I have an open one there - yellow wire on the other one.

Measure the width. Should be 6mm, 1/4in also works.

Check and test the starter terminal you are asking about, many starters have a second terminal that is an output to provide voltage to the coil while starting.
Not used on the 914 but most replacement starters have the terminal.
It is an output and won't energize the solenoid.

Hey Jim - thank you for this. I've already confirmed the functionality. Problem is, I'm 2100 miles from it. Just want to change one lead from my remote start switch to fit the tab vs. the spring clamp that has a tendency to slide off.
