Hell YEAH! I'm scared my car still won't be ready. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif)

P.S. no sticky threads yet, since it's still a long ways off. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

put the powers family down for 2 craig. CONFIRMED. what are the track fees?

So the plan is: Take two weeks of vacation, drive to SoCal first, spend some time preparing (I mean shooting the shit with you guys for a few days) for the WCC, and then caravan up to Oregon. Sounds fabulous to me...the question is will Turltegirls 914 be ready, or will we just be bringing the RS? Only time will tell! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)

My 12 year old Sarah is already planning a snowboarding trip to Mt. Hood, then late afternoon in the waterpark. I guess we'll bring down the 914 and the Pilot.

Yeah Kevin, it's called the alpine slide at Ski Bowl. Mucho fun, could get serious road rash if you blow out. They also have a bungie jump, go carts, mountain biking down the hill. Bungie or Beer? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beer.gif) Beer wins. I'd probably just pee myself on the bungie thing.

We are planning a road trip up through Mt. Hood, the gorge with a stop at McMenamens Edgefield Brewery. That will be a great day trip.

Looking forward to hosting all you guys. Portland ROCKS! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/aktion035.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/aktion035.gif)

gary, for those that like to live life on the edge, is that micro brewery still in business right in gov camp? i woke up with a pounder after a session in there years ago. jumps from heights (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) , with big rubberbands tied to my ankles is not my idea of fun.

I don't think there will be a "real" autocross as part of WCC '06. There is a very short one held as a charity fund raiser on the infield during the historic races. I believe it costs $5 a run and might be fun, but not like a PCA or SCCA event.
Might be used to settle a bet or two among our members.

At the end of three days I think the low key Autocross at the Historics will give evryone the chance to run there car against others and the clock without pushing it to the point of breaking and having to worry about a tow home.

I would like to get a count of who is going to be making hotel reservations for the WCC 2006 in PDX. I relaize we have a headcount of about 94 people, but I would like to nail down the actual number of rooms we may need.

The Hotel will be the Monarch Motor hotel. http://www.monarchhotel.cc Rates are Singles/Doubles $89.00,Triples $99.00, Quads $109.00, Suites $169.00. There is a 7% room tax, this is less than other hotels in the area.
I have reserved for the WCC July 7 and 8, 50 rooms. I would like to let them know if we will need more by the first of 2006, I am sure we will be able to squeeze in a few if needed after that time.

We have a suite and two adjoining rooms, I someone wants to stay in the suite, please let me know. Please note this rooms will be a meeting place for registration and other event activities.
Thank you
Craig C. Laughlin

I can contact a transporter that I use to find out the cost for those who might want to have there cars transported up.

If it's John Valdez, me and the other transporter he sub-contracted want to talk to him about the money he took from us! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif)

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) Craig, I want to book a suite for the evenings of the 7th, 8th and the 9th. Do I just go ahead and do it directly with the hotel? Thanks... Dan
