I am trailering up from Phoenix, I’m going to drop my trailer in a short term storage facility in Moab and then drive over to Montrose. If anyone’s looking for storage, this guy was super cool. https://www.starpointutah.com/ I talked to DAN, for the three days for me. It is $60. Saves the stress if there was no spots available at the hotel. Ed We found the same place and owner. What time do you plan to leave Moab? Mowog4 & bkrantz, I'll be doing the Moab->Montrose drive also. I'll shoot to be ready by 1p Utah time (flexible) and keep an eye on this thread. My CEL number is 602-697-3762. Look forward to connecting on Thursday Ed We should be in Moab by noon, then unload and grab a quick lunch. My cell is 281-650-3564. Bob |

Rope or a long inner tube? I got the Subaru fixed so that my wife can go places with her mom while I am gone. As predicted, salt had etched away the solid pressure line for the steering just where it meets a rubber hose. That is where the salt lingers and electrolysis does the rest. Wish I had packed my headphones for the trip. About 1200 miles to and the same back. |

Clifton I am in the very nice Best Western in Mountain Home Idaho. About half way. I have pretty thin and damaged discs, and sciatica was a distraction the last couple of hours, so I called it quits. Besides, I don’t like driving at night that much. In a 914. During a thunderstorm. Rained hard most of the way south from Washington. |

Make sure define ..Eastern Washington.. Ok. Rained in W Washington, North Bend. Slowed east of the pass. Resumed raining as I approached the tri-cities and the Columbia. Rained like hell past La Grande. Dried a bit in Idaho and in some parts of Eastern Oregon. Now in Idaho at about 3,000’ I can hear thunder. Thing is: the forecast for RRC is sunny and warm. Cool. Almost as cool as @vegasracer . |

You better start posting some pictures so I can pretend I’m there. We’re off to PHX for work or I’d be there in person.

Sorry for having to bail at the last minute.
I still can't get my 914 to run. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Everyone have a wonderful time! I'll be there in spirit. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toast.gif) |
