Started our Okteenerfest adventure. Last year we had planned on attending but a tornado hit our North Georgia cabin and destroyed the roof so we had to cancel. So this year will be our first. Here we are all packed and ready at our rebuilt cabin to leave in the morning. We are celebrating our 42nd anniversary by spending a week in the Smokeys and attending Okteenerfest. Looking forward to meeting new people, seeing the great cars, and learning more about our car.

good choice , it does not look like it will be heavy but definitely a possibility to get some misting and showers here and there.
Looking forward at seeing some new cars again this year and some that just keep getting better every year, including yours!

well i have towed my car up a few times, and had planned on doing this again this year, last time i drove it i got stranded in Spartenburg SC due to failure of the rear relay board, but didnt have a spare. This year i have decided to drive it all the way up and back!! lets hope we make it. My son is driving from Charlotte to Spartenburg to join me and ride the rest of the way up thru the Smokies to Townsend. looking forward to a long awaited Father-Son adventure in the 914!!!!!

We had a great turnout of around 80 people and just over 30 cars.
Four Limited Edition 914s were present.
The 45-55% chance of rain predicted gave way to a beautiful sunny weekend.
