will go to the candidate who requires every 914 to be powered by a /6

After several years, the conversion is driveable and getting close to roadable. Paint, interior, details.

But, what a blast to pilot this semi rocket

I second that vote and request an executive order to end tolls on the highways. Freedom to open the throttle at will!

Hey now! No politics in here!

But you're wrong. While the sound of the sixer is incredibly sweet, and the revs an absolute joy...ya gotta pay the piper. I'd adore a 2.7 in my racer but then I'd be playing with 911s...and I don't have 911 monies.

My solid four-bangers for the win!

"My solid four-bangers for the win!"

It's all about the power-to-weight ratio.

thank you, looking back at the experience I am not sure if I would do it again. There were (are) many challenges but also many victories.

And yes, she sure sings and rocks at the same time. Not exactly sure how, but from what I can tell I managed to get a set of old 40IDT Webers tuned nicely. Idles great at 900, pulls nice and have yet to find out WOT.

That's why you got the evil eye instead of a thread deletion. That and I wanted to let everyone know this is funny, but don't let it devolve into politics.

I want all my roads to be uphill.

I'm good with 6-cylinder rule!

ANY 6...

I want my roads seriously uphill and long.
5 miles would be ideal, 15% grade...

It's the only way you can achieve WFO for a long enough period of time to scorch all of the carbon off the piston crowns.

I'm not so worried about speed limits as long as there are no police cars to enforce them.

Sadly Texas (at least around here) has NO real hills.

The hills are NOT bigger in Texas!

Mountains we don't have at all.
