Pet catalog states rocker panel screws are to be phillips oval head screws. I have never seen a car with those screws attaching the rocker panels. BUT AA parts catalogue does state phillips oval head screws as the correct screw but the kit to install the rocker panels come with pan head screws, as I have always seen on other cars. So to be officially correct is it pan head or oval? Zinc or cad plated? Don't you just love my question?

Which screws?
Black plastic round head rivets for your 74. Hex machine screws, nuts, washers and rubber spacers are needed at the ends. M6 (or is it M8?) screws/washers for bottom of panel to chassis. AA should have everything needed. |

I think (?) Tony means the three screws that go on the bottom edge of the panels.
Yes, the Phillip head screws are correct but are often hard to remove. Switched to anodized hex lag screws several decades ago; no problem removing/reinstalling. |
