There are good reasons the FACTORY updated the fuel pump location & elements on later cars!
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Ive been providing & installing this kit to my clients for a while now. Target is those with early FI cars that would like to update their fuel system including Stainless lines & the newer two port pump relocated into the the steer rack cavity. Includes EVERYTHING necessary, including comprehensive instructions (& images). Can be installed by the average DIY'er with simple tools in a long afternoon. Rich this kit looks great. Any reason to NOT mount the pump on isolators to the bracket?

Not shown in that (older) image but the pump body mount is isolated via a rubber section (strip).
Looked at the physical constraints, the readily available mounts & considering the weight & potential vibration of the pump felt they were overkill. |
