You can refurb the tin and intake, mount the alternator, service the ignition/injectors/harness yourself at minimal cost. Thats exactly what I'm doing and have done on past projects/restorations. But I know my skills are limited when it comes to engine building/assembly etc. If it was a small block chevy I could do it in my sleep, but this build I will leave to the pros.
