I have 140's in the rear for spirated driving along with 19mm torsion bars up front. And it handles like a mad man I'll bet, just like mine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Handles like an adult go kart! |

We've sold quite a few of the 100's, I'm sure there's some one here with a set that can give some feedback. But they are ideal for most street / lite track options. I installed these, and feel very good about the choice. Firm enough but not harsh, and balanced with stock torsion bars (and with stock front and rear sway bars). |

I've got new Weltmeister 100 lb. springs with Bilstein shocks and stock front and rear anti-sway bars on my 1974 914 LE and it made a noticeable handling difference without being too harsh. I think these are the same springs 914rubber sells. Overall, I am very pleased with the balance of ride versus performance.
I have progressive 140# springs with a front 911 and no rear sway bar on my 1974 3.2L six conversion plus adjustable Koni shocks. It is quite noticeably harsher than the LE's configuration and the car would probably benefit from progressive 185# springs for track days. |
