Looking for a set of Pedrini rims for my Bug. Since I have factory front disc brakes, I believe I need the late hub-centric style.

Willing to pay for a set that are already restored or a set that need refinishing. Don't want anything that needs repair work.

Currently running aftermarket BRM's and while okay, they don't have the quality of factory wheels.

Is there a date code that I should look for? I have a set, maybe 5. I'll check.

@914ltd had a early set for sale here, the part number was 914.361.013.00. I don't know what a late part number would be?

Thanks for checking!

There is a month and year date code stamped on the rear of the Pedrini wheels showing their time of manufacture. On my car the Pedrini wheels are stamped 11/70. It is very faint and difficult to see. The stamping was done between the mounting holes on the flat surface which bolts against the hub. As a result, the date code can't be read unless the wheel is removed from the car. Unfortunately, I don't know when the change in the hub centric design was made. However, try Jeff Bowlsby's website because he probably has the info you are looking for on his site somewhere. I’m seeing these new wheels on marketplace. I also really love the Pedrini. For some reason, I also love these.
