Hard to imagine it was 52 years ago that I dragged my dad to Park Porsche in Lawrence Mass. to co-sign the loan for this car..
I was 18 and actually wanted a 750 Honda.
My parents weren't impressed and said... Go Buy a NIce Car.. And here we are....

It was a lifetime ago....

Haven't touched it for a long time.. But it is still out in the garage...

That’s really cool. What an awesome investment, 52 years of enjoyment and worth many multiples of what you paid for it

I had a similar story back in 1971 and also wanted a 750 Honda but needed up with a 57 Checy truck , later on I did get my motorcycle but it was a 900 Kawasaki .

Congrats!! Now get it out and drive it. They (all cars) literally rot just sitting. They need to be driven to be preserved.

Funny I had a new 1970 CB750 in high school. In 1970 it was $1,440. out the door. I was in 11th grade.

Well, adjusted for inflation it's worth a small fraction of the initial investment, sorry (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
