I know this has been discussed before, but the forum search function isn't working all that well for me -

Have cleaned and sanded to bare metal the battery negative to body ground cable connection in the engine compartment as well as the transmission to body ground strap under the car. I have heard that people install one or more additional ground straps from the battery directly to the motor - where is/are the best the best attachment point(s)?

TIA

How about to the stud where the starter motor bolts to the bell housing. Can get any closer to the starter motor than that (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)
