Ate master cylinders
$900 bucks? Why? Is it a tariff thing? Anybody know the answer to this? Are there any dealers outside of the USA? Last year they were running $300 |

There's a new ATE 19mm on Ebay for $330. https://www.ebay.com/itm/395550405317 Wait...I just checked Pelican and the Porsche one is $780, but they show the ATE brand as costing $337. You sure they quoted you for the right one? That said, the picture for the Porsche brand (?) one looks like an ATE... |

I’m sure the stock ate 19mm will become widely available again. Unfortunately, parts aren’t always available at the moment we need them.

I hope that this is not an indicator of what happened to the 17mm master cylinder, which is basically NLA. Though at least there are enough alternatives for the 19mm cylinder that we will continue having a reasonable alternative.

What is Canada's tariff rate? Matt I just contacted Pelican.. one in stock! $700 plus.. this must be a tariff thing I am not sure what the rate is for parts coming from Germany. But parts coming from USA is Provincial Tax and Fedral tax.. no tariff that I have seen crossing the border. THe price may reflect scarcity... I am hopeing Eric starts making them.. |

Call up PMB. See what they have available and how much. Eric probably has a good handle on availability.

Call up PMB. See what they have available and how much. Eric probably has a good handle on availability. @Eric_Shea I picked up my new 19mm from PMB in September. It turned out to have a bad shaft seal and was leaking into the cabin of the car. I sent it back to them and they got me a new one. They said "The price on these has gone way up since you purchased this!..." Apparently the MCs get drop shipped from their supplier and the prices went up sometime in November/December after the 'pre-terrif' units had been exhausted. They worked with me to get it swapped out, without having to pay the new prices. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) I can't say enough nice things about that shop! |

Does anyone rebuild them? Pretty sure I still have my old (original?) one in a box from when I installed a PMB EZ-install MC about 5 yrs ago.
