Hey, what people did with a $500 car back in the late 1980s, early '90s was really up to the imagination. His imagination was 328zx.

Lots of styling cues there....

928 rear end
NSX side scoops
ZX front end
Ferrari style rims

I do like the wrap around windshield.

But, it's his car and if it makes him happy more power to him!

There were a lot of body kits for 914's back in the late 80's, early 90's. Now in the 2020's, none of them seem to make much sense. If you don't like the look of a 914, don't buy one. Sheese, there are a hundred other sports cars with different looks to choose from.

Yeah, I agree. I think for a period of time the 914 was seen as a good platform for a custom built or kit car, like the bug or the fiero. My dad did an Eagle GT back in the 80's with this in mind.
But now the 914 is a true Porsche so just drive it, or don't.
