You should loan/rent that sucker out since it’s pretty much a one time use tool. A good (ie., non-aftermarket CHT) should last decades.

Who isn't into another tool? Another option is to buy your own for $7 (including free shipping if you have Amazon Prime):
https://www.amazon.com/JEUCLEL-13mm-Injecto...6933&sr=8-5 Or get the whole set for $30, if you're really into tools: https://www.amazon.com/BILITOOLS-Injector-1...9hdGY&psc=1 Oh, and they'll work on your diesel fuel lines too. |

Nice. I love the DIY custom tool attitude. After a few decades (OK, five) of figuring out how to get the job done, I have a special drawer in my toolbox for these.

Kind of hard to beat $7. A long 13mm socket would be that or more. Without the custom work. |

Yes, +1 agree. Can't really beat $7 and next day delivery.
If you have a set of crow's feet, they'll work on some sensors. But, the CHT on a 914-4 !doesn't have the room to make it work. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) Like the solution from the OP ,it's now too expensive for me to import special tools and parts, besides the engineer in my comes in as most of my career I was working on ships as a chief engineer and you HAVE to know how to make parts and tools otherwise you are really in the shit ,cheers . |
