What gear ratios, or if stock whats the 915/xx number? LSD? miles? Was it rebuilt when converted? synchros? Have contacted the previous owner who didnt drive it much due to being loud & not running very well - we drove it for less than 100 miles before pulling it to service 2.7 engine (sloppy valve guide) - no issues w trans. No answers yet - not LSD. has been on 914World before - search WEVO, Orange 914. Basically good used trans from a car that apparently didnt run well Previous owner stated it need shorter gears but had a bad engine & only drove it 200 miles, I'd say that that says it uses the factory cluster. Has documentation it was refreshed by TRE but need to find those docs. Not sure relevant but had SWEPCO blue-green lubricant in it. I have it at a transmission shop and he's cleaning it & inspecting it - I asked for pictures so hopefully will receive - have started to receive offers. My Porsche mechanic always thought that the cams might have been mistimed & has corrected all. Car will have newish 901 & better header muffler set-up and be for sale later this year. Trans # to follow |
