Looking for a valve guide boss cutter for 914 heads with 8/9 mm pilots to cut the valve guide boss for the Porsche 914 -4 2.0 l heads. MY springs are tight on bosses and need a little timing to fit

The valve guide boss cutter is available at GeneBerg.com.
They also have the 9mm pilot so you’re able to cut the exhaust guide boss On the type 4 head as well. |

+1 on the Gene Berg tool.
We have one and it worked just fine, but IIRC both valves were 8mm on the head it got used on. |

I just went through this.
If interested, the SCAT 20011 single hi-rev valve springs have a slightly larger inside diameter (.930) and fit without any trimming of the giude boss. |

correct springs and H/W and not t1 springs may be cheeper that retooling
I have the empi/jbugs 4045 single high rev I got from PMB |
