Looking for 4712908713 ![]() ![]() Group: Members Posts: 202 Joined: 20-February 18 From: Golden Valley, AZ Member No.: 21,910 Region Association: None |
Title says it all. I know there are several different types available. My current setup is a crossbar, but I've heard great things about the bell crank style (914Werke? CSP?) and Tangerine Racing's cable linkage. Just looking to hear some feedback on what y'all are running and why. Photos are welcomed!
Thanks in advance! |

For what it’s worth - regardless of the linkage you’re probably going to have issues with the off idle transition with IDF 48’s.
Linkage won’t over come an over carburation (I’m assuming you’re running something around 2.0L - 2.4l size engine) |

The bell crank system is far superior to the crossbar system ,the CSP unit will setup with better geometry and stay that way , the crossbar system you have is a very old system and these were known to be harder to setup unlike the current hexbar design ( CB Performance ) for example. The cable system kits are nice but depends on your budget ,the CSP one is good value for money and well made IMO. Cheers. |

Tangerine Racing cable system on the '74.
But, looking to develop a single throttle body intake system to move away from having to synchronize multiple carbs or multiple throttle bodies (been doing that for decades and know its limitations/tediousness all too well). |
