I recently purchased chrome bumpers and am looking for the right size chrome or stainless steel carriage bolts(the smaller the better) to fit in the two rectangular front license plate holes. I want them to have a smooth finish. Perhaps someone has some, but a part number, vendor, or a link with both would be fine.

I am also curious if anyone has used elevator(flathead) bolts for this purpose.

Thanks!
James

Thanks Bruce. Looking at the stainless steel finish photos online, I'm now thinking to go with chrome, but McMasterCarr doesn't seem to have a chrome option. I could be wrong.

I bought chrome carriage bolts in the plumbing department at the local hardware store - worked perfectly. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
