Hi everybody! I know I have been absent of late, but I am somewhat back.

I need some help from someone in the LA area. We are shopping for a new tow vehicle for the 914s. The current one is 250,000+ miles, and we want to upgrade in the process. We have a candidate that is at a dealer in Burbank. I would be eternally grateful, and will paypal gas money if someone would go there and take a look at it, take some pictures, and give me your honest opinion on it. I can also pay in 914 parts if you need something I have. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (that offer includes shipping).

Here's the webpage: https://mdk-global.com/2014-porsche-cayenne...a-91504/7489964

The address is:

MDK International.
2420 N. Ontario St.,
Los Angeles, California 91504

310-990-0770

It is right next door to the Burbank airport.

Google maps link: https://www.google.com/maps/place/2420+N+On...SoASAFQAw%3D%3D

If we buy it, we will need to arrange shipping to Texas. So if you know of a car shipper in the LA area that is reasonable, please let me know.

Thanks Everyone!

@ClayPerrine

Hi Clay,
Check these transport services in Jeff Bowlsby resources thread.
I called a couple of them for shipping quotes and found they had fair rates.

I could take a look maybe in the next few days? I’m about 15 miles up the freeway.

Bruce Stone hooked me up with a couple of people that were in the area. Rob Arabian called them and a woman with a heavy Russian accent answered and said they don't take walk in showings.

Some additional checks and a discussion with someone named Wes (I don't know his last name) checked on the local reviews for the business. Lots of 1 star reviews with poorly fixed damage, mechanical issues, etc.

I decided not to pursue it because of the reputation of the shop.

Thank you to all the 914World brothers that helped me out. I feel like I may have dodged a bullet with this one.
