911 engine intake manifold studs Options

Got a CIS engine that has been converted to carbs and want to finally swap my intake manifold studs to a longer length to allow for spacers to be used to avoid a hot start/perculation issue I have been having. What length studs are needed for this?

I bought a while back the stud kid from PMO, but I think they sent me standard length ones? Length seems too short with the spacers.

Seems like 51mm length is the go to but want to confirm. Part numbers would be appreciated!

If you purchased the PMO intake heat insulator kit it should come with the correct length studs. I thought the same thing when I opened my kit up but all was fine. I put a set on my 2.7 so kinda hard to measure the overall length now. Just take a few measurements before you install the studs to make sure you have room for a wave washer and nut.

Well you learn something everyday as I assumed the phenolic spacers would be a standard only because my 2.2t euro spec motor with Zeniths has them , must have been added before I bought the motor ??? really will never know I would say .

Sadly I think my PMO studs are too short to accommodate the spacers and be able to secure the manifold. Going to pull them and order new at a proper length. The ones they sent me are ~40mm in overall length, kind of supports my suspicion that they are too short.

A quick pelican parts search on the stud kit from PMO shows a recent review of the studs being too short for someone else as well.

Having issues getting a few of the original studs out. :/
