Does anyone remember how to pull the fan off the Aux. motor? I've done this before but can't remember/find any pictures. I certainly don't want to break it. I've got the nut off this hamster wheel, it rotates but I can't get it to come up off the spindle. Ideas? Heat? TIA.

Mark, It just has two metal tabs 180 degrees for each other on the side as well as a pin looking thing just above one of them (see pic 1). I just remembered I have an early 1.7L aux fan that works. I think the motors are the same across the years. I can go that route probably but would like to get this motor open, if I can. It spins but is a little “crunchy”, if you know what I mean.
