This was done by my oldest son and two of his friends. It was an 11 grade end of the year project. They made a deal with the school. They helped build the car over a few very short months. The school said if they produced a video they could get out of school a week early to attend the 2004 West Coast Classic put together Jeff Bowlsby and his team. This was the debut of the Alien. I literally drove it around the block after completing the car an put it on the trailer and headed west. Sandy, my 2 sons and my oldest sons two friends flew out to the event. These guys were 16-17 years old.

So many great memories from 2004. I remember the roar of the Alien entering the top deck of the parking garage...with great anticipation and meeting you and your family for the first time. Laguna Seca. 914114. The golf course luncheon. And so much more. Thanks for sharing this video. I think we had over 100 914s, and folks without a 914 attended from across the county.

Cool video. looks like a big event and a lot of fun had by all. Now I know who the Alien is and the story behind it . Can't wait to attend some of these great events and meet more 914 people.

Thanks for sharing Rick that was epic. I would love to do that event now. Everyone on the track at Laguna Seca would be cool. I am going their Saturday, maybe I should grab Jeff and have him work his magic with them so we can do it again
