I noticed awhile back that even when cold, the thermostat cable was slack - so I assumed the thermostat had failed. However when I got it up on the lift, I realized it had not failed, it was just not there - a PO had removed it, the bracket etc. They just left the cable hanging.

Has anyone ever ordered a thermostat from these guys?
