The bottom dip stick is the correct one. This picture is from my OE dip stick and oil tank from my 1970 914-6. Hope this helps.

The bottom dip stick is the correct one. This picture is from my OE dip stick and oil tank from my 1970 914-6. Hope this helps. sbsix, Your picture matches the top one of jrrobinson's photo, not the bottom one. I'm going to measure mine shortly, although I can't guarantee its originality. Mark S. '70 914-6 |

Belay that! Having heat stroke evidently. It’s the longer of the two at around 13 inches long. Getting old.
