Hi there, I am having trouble tightening the bracket for the fuel injection system. I feel like I might be missing a step or a specific part. Could you let me know if there is a shop manual or a detailed assembly diagram available for this? Thank you for your help.

You need a couple of sleaves on those. Mine has the same things that link the tubes to the plenum but slit down the length so you can wrap the around the tubes.

Two issues:
First, you should have a pair of rubber hoses on the intake runners, one on each, that the bracket clamps around. The hoses look like the hoses that connect the runners to the manifold, but might be a little shorter -- at least, they look a little shorter on mine. You'll have to remove the intake runners to install the sleeves, I don't think they'll stay in place if you slit the hoses and pop them on. Second, that mounting bracket is bent. The top part should be flat, but you have a big bend in yours. |

Mine have been cut since I bought the car, they work fine that way. And yeah, wow, that is pretty bent.

And where is the cover for your TPS? That's also a strange kind of hose for the AAR. Will that hold up to the heat?

Wait a sec here.... What is going on with your car? Those are 1.7 tins or even a 1.7 motor with a 2.0 djet setup.
