I can't believe this thread is up to 15 pages already!!!
Great pictures from everyone, it really was an excellent time. It was great to meet so many new and great people from other states and see all of their beautiful cars. I couldn't believe how great all the cars looked - and drove. Really made me sad that I couldn't have brought mine. There's always next year... I haven't had a chance to get the pictures out of my camera, but will certainly get some pics posted later on. Can't wait until next year. Follow the progression. This rocks: 1)These pics are amazing 2) I can't believe how beautiful it is there 3)Hey, wifey would freak if she saw these 4) Ya, that's it, I will have her look at this thread and she will beg me to take her next year. YES!! 5) She looks, sees them, and gives me a big hug when I say, "maybe I could work it into my schedule next year." 6) Rockin' good news. Time to start planning. Course, it will ruin the spontanious effect when she reads this post, huh? Oh well. Great looking gathering. Wish I could have attended. Congratulaltions to Eric and all helpers putting it together. It's a tremendous job & involves lots of personal time.
Tom BTW Eric. Thanks for wearing the SMOG shirt. I feel we were there in spirit with you wearing it. |

Oooooooooops, don't lump me in with that crowd. I just lit the match. Them there other boys did all the cooking. I got a new job about mid-way into it and Brant, John, Ben and Greg really smoked at making it all come together. All hats are officially off to them. And... you know I'm a SMOG'er at heart (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) |

Sure hope someone got a pic of me, my car, or me and my car with some of that beautiful scenery! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/pray.gif) Pic 1: First time that weekend that the car was on jackstands. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif) . Pic 2 This pic is cool. This was through Bryce Canyon. This is actually the second to last stop before I had it towed 200 miles to Richfield.
Special thanks to John and Steve for putting up with my teener for those long hours and short distances. Also thanks to Joe Sharp for driving 300+ miles to Richfield and back to pick up the car. And thanks to Mike and Sharron Ginter and Linda Horneeeee for taking an entire day off the event to ride to richfield with me! Attached image(s) |

Pic 3 is the THIRD time she was on jackstands. This was after we left the Delicat Arch run (which it died once) when several people left early to go work on it.
Thanks Joe and Lauren for the "lap" ride in the RS to go back to get the car. Thanks Bob, Brant, Joe, Lauren, Joe Sharp, and Steve for leaving the tour early to work on my 914. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/pray.gif) Attached image(s) |

Where is John Peterson with those 300 pictures he said he had? Horrors - did he have to go back to work while the club was down and didn't have time to post them before it came back up? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)
