That weren't me....I was just wondering how an ah like you could be in association with such a nice sweet, intelligent, caring and beautiful woman. It just goes against all laws of human nature. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

At the D&G, we practice "be kind to budding engineers and the mentally challenged".

I can see we're going to have to change the venue if somebody actually learned something.

Hello All,

My wife and I attended the D&G swap meet yesterday. This was our first 914 event. We had a great time and was able to find some bits and pieces. Was tempted to buy more, that will come in time. I was very impressed on how the club members take care of each other. Prices seemed to be based on how much money the seller had in the part, not the ultimate top doller. I have also had the same experience when purchasing parts from the club classifieds.

Thanks to the organizers, look forward to future events. Attached is a shot of my ex Root/Camp 914-6 Conversion after a few months of tinkering

That is a gorgeous car. In fact, that is exactly how I envision my Subaru conversion car looking when its done, but in silver. I really like the way the black trim and mirrors look on that car, and the wheels too. Just the slightest bit of polished aluminum.

Anyway, welcome to the group!

Thanks for all the kind words......I never knew it would be that much work as a "host" as Glenn had always done that and all I had to do was cook, eat and bullshit.
Special thanks to the City of Riverside and the State of California for totally fuching up the freeway system so as to make it difficult to find the junkyard.

And the most thanks to all who took the time to showup, socialize, sell, buy and eat.  You all made a long day a shitpile of fun.

I do have some questions:

1.)  Were the donuts good?

2.)  How did Brad Roberts wind up with such a fox?

Now wait a minute!!!.....She did arrive with ME (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) .......and she did leave with ME (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) ..............Dad (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)
