hard to tell from that picture seems to be a BMW E3 (2500, 2800, 2.8L, 3.0S, 3.0Si, 3.3L or 3.3Li) - 4 door Sedan, 1968 to 1977 |

Good job Gustl! What made you think it is from South America? Do you know who the designer is?

not really - but I know most of the european cars, at least the kind they designed their cars for the last 100 years from the basic design it didn't look like an american or japaneese car, so I thought of the style from the Puma and VW SP2 and so on - try to transform this to a decade later and it looks like the Farus ... so I googled for coupe & brazil and came to the solution (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mueba.gif) |

I join one of the largest german Porsche forums. Quite a long time ago someone started a thread because he was bored. He posted a partial photo from an older car and asked to find it out. The guy who found out the correct answer was the next to start a new quiz ... well, this thread was like a landslide (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif) It turned out that I was the one who solved almost every quiz when I was online - and in addition hardly anybody was able to solve my riddles (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif) Therefore lots of them quit playing and it got a little uninteresting ... so I decided not to play the "easy ones". Now I just play tha game when nobody else finds a solution within a couple of days. And sometimes, when even I have no idea I ask you guys ... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif) Maybe anybody would like to see my current pic - I took it last weekend on an oldtimer fair (I will post a little report when I've redone my pics) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wavey.gif) Gustl Attached image(s) |

Howard, you could watch the whole picture-quiz-thread (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif) unfortunately some of the pics were uploades temporary - so the won't occur now you'll see that the pics are getting more and more difficult - and some of them will be familiar to you (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) |
