Hi Rogergrubb.

Been watching this large posting since I told the girls "don't do it".  I still think  this thing is going to bust wide open as a big "cluster screw job". getting it printed.  I hope you know what your doing.

I don't know you or what kind of business your in but, it this your project or is this a 914-club project??

Let me pretend I am your boss asking questions.

Have you made a business plan?

How you going to pay for it?
Note: I suspect it will cost $5,000 dollars to put this thing into production.  Do you have someone lined up to get it print ready?  What printing company will do the work and what is their time schedule.  Looks to me like you need (1) year to get everything into production. Who will handle distribution & mailings?

Will you ask for money up front?

How many calanders will you sell?
Note: If your asking price is $25 bucks expect to sell less than 50 (my opinion).  If your asking price is $5 bucks expect to sell 200 max. (my opinion).

Roger, I know your thinking this is a great idea, but maybe your a pervert trying to get lady's pictures to post on the web.  I know your not, but have you thought about signing off waviers & legal protection.  Just want you to be aware of things in today's world.

I could go on and on, but you get the idea.  I still think this is a bad thing for the club.  Let the professionals do it.

Tom
BTW
Thought of another thing.  Our lady's are probably worried about sending in to hot or not hot enough pictures for publication?   Big worry for our lady's.  My boobs are to small or my ???? you get the idea.

Just checking in.

Interesting thoughts on litigation. i believe the pics i will use are being sent to me by the participants and/or their signifigant other/friends who are fully aware of where the pics will be printed (calendar). don't see a problem there. everything on the up and up.

i could just as easily not do the calendar. but then the social conservatives would be happy. screw that.

i may not be a brain surgeon but i can definately put together a calendar. without the excessive fat (overhead) of a typical venture. already been done. Thanks Gwen! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

i am a pervert, and proud of it. my sweetie pie likes me that way. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/happy11.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/aktion035.gif)

this thread is 25 days old today and has received 27,000 hits. some people are interested... only one person concerned...

Hi Rogergrub

Thanks for the reply. I was just trying to keep your butt out of trouble. Looks like you have all bases covered.

Very interesting postings from the 914 crowd. Mrs K has me baffled, don't know if she is a hot moma or teasing the boys??

Anyway, glad you have everything under control. Good luck,

Tom

Mr Spare Time Toys,

You & I have had words on other subjects and we have opposite political & world views. Don't suggest I am a Pat Robinson person because you don't know me. We don't like each other and I am glad you don't live in my neighborhood.

To all others,
I am sure Roger is doing a super job and postings like this help sell calanders. As to Mrs. K she will be our super model of the 914 club. I am sure she's a great lady and no malice was intended. Sorry Mrs. K.

if i really wanted to increase my cashflow i certainly wouldn't put together a calendar. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) in the end i'm probably going to be upside down on time as i know most members are CSOB's. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif) but i don't care because i also know there are so many people who want the calendar. i'm just doing it because i think some people don't want to take the heat from judgemental people like you.

i am driven by money as well as sex, politics, and my own personal spiritual journey. but it's the way everyone is. and it's none of my business what other people believe or think. and the people here who know me, know that i'm very slow to judge. (lest ye be judged) all except for brad.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

it's obvious you don't understand the ladies of 914club.

i can't help you to understand. only you can do that but that requires an open mind... sorry.

It never ceases to amaze me that some people, who are obviously opposed or offended by a particular thread/subject (pick one), keep such a close eye on it when there are so many other threads to read that won't get their blood pressure up.......they're obviously trying to pick a fight.

I saw no negative responses from any female members (who are all volunteers....no pressure involved), and those female members that are not "into" this type of venture, of which I assume there are a few, have the good common sense not to throw dynomite in the campfire.

Truely ponderous! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/screwy.gif)

just because you don't like one of the thirty one flavours doesn't mean that you have to ban, criticize, bad mouth, deny to others, censore to others. this is a FREE country, with the freedom for religous and personal expression. be tollorent of others who don't share your view, lest others might judge you in the same.

if some thing offends you, you have a choice, don't look, don't participate, its that simple.

I look here to see what deserves 24 pages. Mostly, it looks like an excuse to bring the Sandbox to the main forum.

As a disinterested observer (that means I could give a shit about your calendar) there is nothing here to get excited about......except.....Granpa JP is upset that Jenny would get involved with this tawdry undertaking (It's a joke, OK)

Groan, here I go...

Well, I started tracking this thread out of ammusement. My wife actually thoguth it was a neat idea, so if she's not offended (nor is she the easilly offended type...), then neither I nor she have a a problem with it. If someone does have a problem with it, then don't read it... easy enough.

Back to lurking on this thread...

So a quick hijack. Keep up the good work Roger.
Lets go get a drink at a strip club.
I couldn't get the wife to pose (Yet)
