The bondo is good for thicker applications and first coats.
The metal glaze is very smooth and viscous. Consistancy of pudding (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/chowtime.gif) You can spread the metal glaze so thin you can see through it and no pin holes. Great for topping, like on my trunks. I sanded through to bare metal all over both of them due to little rust bubbles. The metal glaze is applied just a little thicker than the paint on the car before sanding. Expensive, though. Around $20 a pint. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) KT |

We used about a gallon of bondo on this car (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)
But, about 80% of that got sanded off. Here's the rundown on coats: 4 coats primer yesterday tomorrow: after block sanding and spot putty, wet sand with 400 grit. 4 coats color 4 coats clear Another long day KT |

That looks F-G BITCHIN!!!
I have tought about the stripes down the center, but since I don't have a motor that would beat my son on his bike going down hill,I have gone away from doing it. That is really beautiful!!Keep up the great work, more pics!!!
