I saw the sun this morning so that must mean that spring his here!
I would like to get some of the hearty puget sound 914 owners to come over to Bremerton Family Pancake House and then for a drive like last year... If it is THAT nice of a day (like alsat year) we could even drive out to Dawato bay on Hood Canal... great twisties and scenery can not be beat! Here is what is on the calender for me: Feb 5 Superbowl out of town (not going to the game) Feb 18 PCA Autocross practice (we could show up enmass and just freak the wine and cheeze folks!) March 10-12 Race driver school and Seattle enduro at Pacific Raceway. So lets start thinking about a day. I would suggest something in Gig Harbor as a sencondary local, but Dave might not want all of us blasting around his nieghborhood, that is his favorite pastime! i am in; heck, coffee, breakfast sausage, bacon, eggs, toast... my favorite meal! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/chowtime.gif) it is right up there with lunch and dinner as the best reason to get up in the morning!
gig harbor would be good, as it is closer for some. bremerton is also good, as the seattle folks can come over on da boat! either way is fine wit me. the pancake house treated us pretty good last time. thanks for starting this, dino! now get back to work on your bathroom! I'm in.
My days of hammering it around Giggle are over for a while. Yesterday on my way to the bridge a county sherriff got right up on my butt (just about filled the rear view). I imagine he was running my plate but, I can't be sure. Fortunately, all the equipment works and I saw him early so, I was a good little boy. I ran around at about 2900 rpms to keep the noise down until he got bored with me. I have to lay low for a while. I've been a little overboard since i got the new engine in. Dave |

I wouldn't be overly concerned about a conflict with a Feb autocross. Feb autocrosses are basically slip-and-slide practices, aren't they? I agree with Kevin.. let's go to the track after breakfast, to see those guys and hang out for a while. That will be fun.
The 18th at the pancake house sounds great! I wonder what time the Seattle-Bremerton ferry gets in.. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) Roger |

Thanks, Eddy.
Arriving at 9:00 a.m. sounds good, assuming there will still be room at the restaurant.... pull into the waiting area in Seattle about 6:45?, drive onto the ferry about 7:15, ferry leaves at 7:35, have coffee, arrive in Brem at 8:35, unload in Brem, and get to the restaurant by 9:00... easy as pie. |

Ok, then NO FLAX NEEDED! ;^) sorry Geoff, we will miss you!
Last time the FPH was very accommodating and were glad to have us! I think any breakfast restaurant that sees me and Shane coming thru the doors are thinking "Today is gonna be BIG!" I will get a headcount the week before and reserve a table. Making it to the restaurant by 9:14 should be no worries from the ferry! It is about a 10min drive if you miss every light! The PCA Autocross that day is a practice, 25 bucks all the laps you want. I think it would be VERY KEWL for 10 or 15 of us to show up and crash their party!! |

Sure wish I could make it but I've got a booth at the old car swap meet in Puyallup that day. I'm in the process of thinning the herd of antique cars and parts so I can spend more time driving.

How about a Seattle convoy on the ferry coming over, and then afterwards we can convoy over to Kevin's and check out his rhodies and roses and azaleas.. and that parsley bush.
