Tis my understanding of the sentence that you wrote that 23 25 people have unquestioning faith that you will NOT show up in your car.

It can't be more than 10 minutes from my house. Let me know if you are serious and I'll check it out and take a ton of pics.

I (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif) pics too!

I'm not buying any more cars that I don't atually see myself first. Learned a lesson more than once. There are a couple people that I would trust enough to properly evaluate a car for me.

Oh and...

Don't you worry Mike, I'll take a look under the hood for ya'. I check for radiator leaks, I'll make sure all 8 cylinders are firing and of course you can bet I'll make sure that the blinkers all have proper fluid levels.

No offense intended Michael. I've bought 5 cars (that I remember, might be more) sight unseen and it's bitten me a couple of times. Not really bad, but bad enough. You and I don't really know each other well enough for me to know that you're idea of "mint" and mine are the same. That's all I meant. These days my preference would really be to see everything I buy for myself. Live and learn.

Lookin forward to seeing you and Waide again. I didn't really get much chance to talk to you guys at RRC. It would appear that Waide made a helluva buy.

In the immortal words of Linda (/L) on the red car. 'If you don't buy it I will'. Trust the force, Luke. And if you're man enough for a snarling V8, have I got a car for you (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Mike - no offense taken. You would be an idiot to buy a car based on my recomendation(Don't tell Waide)

I do mean that. The only reason I told Waide to jump on Howard's car was because Howard had someone do a PPI and he bought it. Even after driving it he felt the car was nice enough to offer to club members without hesitation. I trust Howard's judgement and reputation on this board that he wouldn't be serving up something that he thought was a lemon.

He's got that car in the autotrader for $3k. Actually upon further review, it looks like a flip car. Someone local bought it from "Jesse" and they are flipp'n it.

Looks like a pretty good car for 3k, but as usual, it may be a dog. Couldn't hurt to look. February is a great time to buy 'collector' items that are sitting in the garage.

And all you guys looking for a rusted out POS for $1000, why?? Look at this POS

It's local, I'll go look at it if you want. I'm no expert, but I can drive it and see if it works.
