Hi,
Took the 914 for a 'relieve drive' last night and boy did it feel good! I was in some pretty dark areas (like in the middle of nowhere) and figured that my headlights & driving lights (non oem fogs) were pointing a little low and had to use the highbeams most of the time. I do know where the ajusters are, it's only that i don't have data for aiming them. Marc-André |

The fog lights in the bumper only pivot up and down. Take the grill off and you can see how they work. The headlights have adjustment screws on the top and sides that you tighten or loosen to move the headlight. You can take the headlight cover (the part that is painted or the plastic part cover on front) off to get to screws and see how it work.
To aline them at the same height you need to pull the car up about 8' from wall and turn on the lights. Adjust the lights so they are same height and are the same distance from the centerline of the car. Paul |

You can rotate the foglights left and right too off of the mounting screw. And then pivot up and down.
The left right is really just to center them in the opening though. |

I only use my high beams. When I put the switch on low, the headlights get cross eyed, one is up and left, the other is down and right. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
I am also curious about putting a brighter bulb in my fog lights. Isn't there a modification out there for this? |

QUOTE Isn't there a modification out there for this? Yes. Search the bird site. It costs $50, plus bulbs. Its some sort of adapter ring to house a Halogen bulb. Or, Tim Hodgekiss from UK has (had) some halogens. They fit in stock bulb socket. He is getting a new distributor, so they are NLA right now. |

Sylvania makes 100 watt direct replacment bulbs for the 75/76. Works awesome. I use them as daytime driving lights. Not sure about the early round lights.
