getting off the freeway tonight, i was making a turn, not too hard, but a red light came on, it is the red light on the top of the left gauge, it flashed a little in the turn, but turned off after i came out of it, is this something i should worry about or are these things known to come on on accident every once in a while?

thanks

Something is up w/ your brakes. Bad MC, calipers FUBAR, etc.

That is a brake system idiot light... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Check the connection of the two connectors on the drivers side of the master cylinder.

I always thought it was just the emergengy brake engaged light. Does it have more than that function? Check the contact for the emergency brake, maybe it's messed up.

Two functions.

It flashes as the ebrake warning also. Make sure your handle is all the way down. There is a small pin right below the handle mounted to the frame rail running across the floorboard.
