I'm really impressed with the scratch built 914 models, the custom backpads and how similarities to the things we do.

NICE!
(IMG:http://www.geocities.jp/yukixhira/914in1.jpg)
Looks like they are into their interiors! Several of the links show interior work being done.

Hrm...damn Geocities...click on the second blue sphere in the left frame (under the red spheres). The car is a red one and the interior is tan and black...or black an' tan if you like a good NW brew (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

One guy (towards the end of the links) was building his very own Japanese Porsche Playhouse (garage workshop).

It is very neat how it mirrors everything we do.

Something also on one of the links that had a silver 916 with the 916 in the "text" above the image.

I wonder if that is one of the 916s that is in Japan?

Looked like some 914-6s in a wrecking yard?? One with flares. Also Garage Life is a website and I beleive print magazine that has some very interesting cars, owners and garages, located in Japan. Neat stuff.

Why are the turn signals interesting?

it says they took a camping trip to the junkyard and got drunk. it also seems like they bought the two 914-6's, as there were names claimed to them.
