hey friend of twystd1,

As you know, our man clayton, goes WAYYY out of his way to help someone with anything they need. This shows at every BBQ and get together we have ever had. A prime example was this past saturday, where clayton worked from 11 AM to 11 PM on cbenitah's car. it came in a 3 cylinder car, and left one of the best running 1.8's ive heard. In the process of giving himself for the benefit of others, his trusty roady toolbox was stolen after finishing.

I for one, have benefited from clayton's knowledge, and experience, and his general selfless attitude. so i would like to spearhead this operation to get clayton a new set of tools from sears.

If you would like to show appreciation for anything he has done for you or the community, you can donate to the clayton fund. help us get clayton a set of tools, so he can continue doing what he does best.... helping others...

You can donate via PAYPAL or check.

if paypal - acox914@comcast.net put "clayton fund" in the memo

if check, mail to

i sent out like 20 individual PM's , but figured this would be a better way to get some exposure for our homie.....

What a huge dissappointment; help out all day and have your tool box ripped off ! There are no words to describe the anger I would have felt; but there is a paypay coming you way to help rebuild the toolbox. Hopefully, there will be enough to add some stuff he doesn't have too.

Good idea Aaron...

Check will go out today. Every 914 event I've been too, Clayton has spent the day working on others cars, offered me a free door when mine got hit, he is the best in my book, it is a honor to know someone like him.

That really sucks about his tools, I hope the scumbag busts his knuckles every time he uses them.

Take Care Clayton, we'll fix you up this time, it's our turn.

Later, Don

On it's way

...you left coast clubers really got it going on; helping each other out.

I see this great attitude in Leo Imperial who recently moved out here to NJ.

Wow... that sucks..... Just so everyone knows, Clayton had one of the best portable tool setups I've seen. Hard to guess, but I'd say it may cost $500-700 to replace, perhaps more. As noted he worked all day while most of us had our clean hand in our pockets. Paypal sent (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smiley_notworthy.gif)

on edit: The worst part about it is that while everyone else went home after having a great day, Clayton had to feel like complete shit, and I'm more sorry about that than the tools. If you need more $ let me know.
