i count 7 fans plus whatever he puts on the processor, video cooler, north brige, and power supply...I hope you are overclocking cause that thing is going to be loud as hell!

I have a 2.4c running at 3ghz w/ 1gb ram with a 9500np softmodded to a 9700...oh and a wd raptor ...it rocks the house...I just need to find some good games again...

So whats going in yours?

Anyone remember that crazy guy back in like 97 who over clocked a 200 celeron to I believe 2 gigs?

He put the board and chip in a Styrocoam cooler, filled it with mineral oil, and had a pump and cooler circulating the mineral oil I think he was chilling it to -10F. It was goofy as hell, but it did work.


The Costco swap on computers sounds cool, but I don't think I'm ready to start using a machine I didn't build.

I was just talking about that thing the other day. Someone recently told me it was still running. I think it was a PII 250Mhz..

When I saw it, it was a fish tank, had pumps aimed at all the good stuff, and I think he was cooling the oil with nitrogen?

It reminds me of Paul's mods to his car... nothing but a power supply.
