Can anyone tell me what the 4 round and 1 square relays are for behind the fuse panel on a 1972?
I stopped for gas the other night and when I drove away my headlights stopped working even tho they were fine 5 min before. The retractors work. Thought I'd check the fuses and relay if there is one for this. Any ideas on the cause? Any help would be great! Thanks. |

This is where a shop manual is VERY helpful (hint hint)!
--From the 914 Tech Tips 700 book-- Turn signal relay: tall, rectangular and black or silver on early cars. Hi/low beam relay: small cubical silver relay. Driving light relay: black, round. Power relay: black and round. For fuse 9. Power for horn relay, fresh air blower, wiper, cigar lighter (72-76 models) Horn relay: black and round. Buzzer relay: silver and round. |
