How about Ray's Boathouse? 9:14 AM on 9/14?
There is nothing but cold assed beach futher north if its not sunny.
Took the tranny all apart to install a real 5th gear back in it yesterday.

The Mazda needs a ignition switch or something. I'll drive that thing if its running. Now that is one loud assed car!! ouch!
I think that MikeZ needs one of those to wake up his snottynosed neighbors!

I am still working on the engine compartment painting. effin Por assed -15 is peeling off some of the new metal I put in 2 years ago. nice...........

I think the POR likes rusty metal better than fresh metal.

Did you etch it with the Metal Prep or Ospho? That helps.

why is you guys never seem to try mar-hyde? the stuff has worked great for me. can't use it on sandblasted metal though.

Doh. I'm all like - "wtf is shilshoal marina"?? Wrong city - When you said golden gate park I thought San Francisco. Won't be driving to Seattle next week :-).

Is there a planned 9/14 run for the San Francisco Bay Area folks? I will have my cast off (broken arm - cast comes off 9/11) then and I'm dying to go for a decent drive. Might have to bring the Miata though.

I was thinking of driving out I90 to Snoqualmie, then the back roads out to Woodinville where the Brewery is.

I am trying to find some time to check a map for the route, atleast a hour of driving time. Maybe stop along the way for a look at the falls?
There are some nice roads out that way.
