Trekkor is doing a great job considering his limited # of days at TH. Now he just needs to find a good "rabbit" in another 914 to polish things up. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

Greg,
when was the last time you and Tricia drove TH...it has really changed in several areas, especially the paddock, with hard covered areas to park your track car in the shade now. New garages and lots of other new asphalt in several areas. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

It's been awhile since we've been up to Thunderhill since its now a 400 mile trip for us (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) Last time we came up, citibank put a stop on my credit card since I was stopping for gas every few hours driving up I-5! Had to call them to get it turned back on! Lots of gas those travel days

I haven't ran the cyclone by-pass since the SCCA Vintage 2 hour enduro a few years ago!

We plan to make it up to Thunderhill at least once this season!

Little help here

I've got 14 hours on these skins. Plus, three a/x's.

The 710's are considered AutoX tires. If your hair is on fire.. they will be greasy/slippery after 4 laps on the big track.

When you are all set in your brain: Turn 8 is full throttle in 5th gear. 9 is a "tap and go" with no downshift... just carry the speed. You need a GOOD 914 intructor now with you.. or you need to ride in a 914 being driven well. I think you are VERY smooth.. almost too cautious however. I'll find some in car video that I shot 2-3 years ago at Thill before the new area's at 8/12/14/15.

Do not take this "bad" just want to let you know that you are leaving a TON on the table.

Let me find some video.

Trekkor - seriously its been great fun watching you improve on the track video after video. I can only hope I get my act together to do as well as you on big tracks as quickly as you did. I'm truly a coward at speed. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif)

No, I don't. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)
Very helpful actually. Thanks...

I'll get back there on the 31st to try again.

Looking for an instructor (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif) ( hint, hint )

still trying to "scare" up an instructor, Trekkor? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)

Just kidding. .....If I get up there on the 31st I'll be sure to go out with you.
Not sure if I will be able to get there yet. Depends on where I get with the car preparation.
