Jeroen - Thanks for the photos of the artist at work. My friend (Roy) commented about the 356 in the studio under a tarp plus the pet mouse in the kitchen. (I sent you some info. about Roy in an e-mail) I have never see the red one, but I think the one up for grabs is more of a 'rust' color.

I got e-mail entries from L. and R..

YES I do take PayPal, and YES I will carefully ship it if you win.

Here are two shots of my blue one.

Because - a.)Today is 9-14. b.) This topic has drifted back to page 3. and c.) It's my thread and I can .....
I have decided to red flag this contest and randomly select the winner a few days early.
The name I drew from the hat is ..................................... GWN7.

Congratulations Bruce !!!

I go to all the trouble to import this model from Europe, and now it is going to be leaving the US of A.
I am pleased that the winner entered the drawing not for selfish reasons, but with the hope to give this car as a Christmas gift to his son. All very commendable motives, and also a bit of added security to promote the continued interest in teeners for the next generation.

I wish I had at a dozen more of these cars so everyone who entered could get one.
Maybe if you're really good Santa will bring you one.
Naah. It's to late for that. So just go out and raise hell and have fun. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

Do you think it possible to get more made? It was done once, is the maunfacturer still around?

And thanks for holding the raffle. That was a very nice thing to do.

Thank you. I'm sure he will be surprise as I am right now on Chrismas day.

It's not going to be far out of the USA, Winnipeg is only 60 miles North of the border. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Not as often as I like. When were working on his car, he just asks me. I have a binder with teener facts & figures in it. Print anything off sites that I think I might need. Just incase the server crashes again. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I keep telling him to look the info up on the clubsite. When he can actually drive on his own (9 months here with a beginners, before you can drive alone) I'm sure he will be more interested.

I agree! Make mine in black please.

And if it is an accurate 914, then there is no copyright in the model anyway; the rights to the design are to Porsche only. And we know they don't give a rat's ... about it.

Sorry, I wouldn't do that. Only because I respect an artists propritry rights of their creation.

I am looking at having some smaller scale models made out of pewter, but they won't be available for some time. I'll let you know when there are available. It involves making a master and having a mold manufactured. The master must be strong enough to withstand the mold manufacturing process.

If this works you will be able to order them in whatever colour you want.
