This is how the tip of the squirter will be located, as viewed from inside the tail housing:

I also bought a Kawasaki engine oil cooler, to use as a tranny oil cooler. I had to modify the fittings, and here it is.
I'm not yet sure where I'm going to put, so it can get some airflow. I have been thinking, though, that it may be possible to use the air that normally goes into the passenger side heat exchanger to cool this. It would require a bit of custom ductwork, but it just might work. I'll look into it. What remains to do is a "junction block" that will split the pressure oil coming from the pump and send part of it to the side cover, and part to the tail housing. After that, it's just the hoses. In the meantime, all input and suggestions are welcome, this is very much experimental ! Attached image(s) |

Last part is the "splitter" to send pressured oil both to the side cover and to the tail housing. I fabbed it this morning. Oil comes in on the right hand side, goes out through the banjo fittings. The hoses are on just fo mock-up purposes, at this point.

This is how it looks so far. It's getting there. I actually need to do a little more work on the side cover squirter, and to organize all the hose.
Thanks for looking. Attached image(s) |
