Me and the three-year-old. He hasn't had a ride yet but we can sit in the driveway and pretend. One of these days I'll move a child seat into the teener and take him for a drive.

Shocked to realize I last posted in this thread fourteen years ago. Here's the same two people as in the prior photo, only now he's old enough to drive it.

My son and I recently at Renntech’s anniversary located 30 mins away with my 1981 MB S123 modified… I got outbid on a previous Brody Borgogno 914 WRX swap by $250.00 on BAT in February. So, I bought the station wagon the week after instead and love it!!! But, it didn’t drive or look like this when I bought it almost a year ago!

Long-time Volksie fan and Luftgekühlt Porsche person, after having had many prior types (including 412s and a beautiful 914-6 I foolishly sold to a Japanese businessman, some years ago for a ridiculously low price...stupid, stupid, STUPID!), and now down to a lovely 1974 yellow Porsche 914-4/2.0 and a 1973 orange standard Bug. Probably the oldest living (and still flying) Mach-buster (Convair F-106 Delta Darts...known to intimates as simply 'The Six'). Sierra Hotel Rubber Dog Sh*t transporter in civvie-type aircraft...(Mach 0.2, Cessna 172 Mescaleros). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bs.gif)

Ah! man of exceedingly good taste, obviously...with a "whole bunch of 914s!" I myself am a long-time 914 person, since too many of the newer P-cars are more like F-35 fighters than the motorised air-cooled '70s era turbo-oxcarts I find more agragable!. Give me a good 914 any day (although I find myself strongly attracted by the lovely Cayman design!). Good on ya, mate, and best for the Ano Nuevo!
