I checked the schedule but I didn't see what time the wet t-shirt contest was? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheer.gif) Well now I think that all depends on when Lisa and Toast arrive...? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) The only problem would be keeping Slits and Howard out of the contest.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon8.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) |

I was in a CPM for three months after a flight for life incedent at the motocross track. I managed a tibia plateau fracture, ruptured both meniscus', severed my ACL and LCL and tore my MCL. On the couch for over 7 months! It was not fun... But friends of mine have had complete knee replacements and were racing motocross within two months of the surgury. Mrs. K I know what you will be going through... Hang in there, use thera-bands (basically large rubberbands) for strengthening. If it is your right knee, I would stand on your left leg and imagine a star that you are standing in the middle of with your right foot, touch the five points of the imaginary star. Then stableize yourself with your hands on the back of a chair and do the same thing except this time stand on the right leg and touch the points of the star with your left leg.... repeat...
This should help build the strength back in your legs around your knees. Don't worry too much, in the grand picture, your injury is not toooo bad. You will heel and be dancing ballet in no time. Alieve is great pain med without the drowsiness of narcotics... Hope this helps. |

Thanks for the info "WRX914".....sounds like you had one hell of an injury! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)
Glad to hear that you have recovered well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Are you going to the RRC? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I'll bring my "theraband" and do my exercises............. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mueba.gif) Plus I can use it to "snap" Slits in the face or arse when he is out of line............. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bootyshake.gif) That theraband will probably get lots of use (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol3.gif) Lisa (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mrs.K.gif) |
