It looks like it's really going together nicely. I can't wait to see how you do the air cleaner/AFM mount. I know how I did mine, but other solutions are always good to look at...

Thanks guys.

Joe called me the day he fired it up and let me hear it. Man I was excited.

Then he called me after he took it around the block with just straight headers to let me know it all went well.

Then after he got it the exhaust in place and could take it out for a decent run he called me. He tells me this:

"It runs really strong. When you get on the gas, things happen fast!"

The smile still hasn't left my face. 48 hours from now I'll be flying over there to get it. I can't wait. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

That is probably the better way to run to New Mexico, Arizona State Route 260 does not have a lot of shoulder.

Mike is taking flying lessons, so he will be making his first cross-country to ABQ with his instructor on Thrusday morning.

I have to fly on Thursday and Friday (just like last year), so I won't be here for Mike's first drive, but I will be in Moab later on Friday.

I got the air cleaner and the angle drive this morning, so look for a completed project this afternoon.

Very nice car guys! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif) You knew yellow (& Ravenna) cars are faster - right!

How bout some details on the wheels & tires? They look like Kumho's, but couldn't make out the size, etc.

Enjoy!

Lunch break.

These are for John.

A quick trip to Autozone netted me a curved piece of 3" exhaust and a coupler.

I fabbed a bracket that bolts to the intake manifold and:
