Finished!

Finished?? Thats it?? I thought doing a six conversion was difficult. Hell, I didn't even break a sweat. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

On a serious note - Joe, the car looks awesome and I can't wait to drive it. If my wife wouldn't kill me, I would be on my way up there right now.

For the record, Joe did a lot more than just simply install parts. He sourced a lot of the parts himself and/or gave me the info I needed to get parts ordered. There is no way the car would have turned out as nice in such a short amount of time without his extra help and guidance. He was a huge resource beyond just doing the conversion.

Also, huge props to Eric Shea for the wheels and Johnman for getting the three-way gauge turned around so quickly.

On that note, it's (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) time!

As soon as I confirm first hand that the car isn't slow, new plates will be ordered.

I think I am going to take the plate that SirAndy suggested:

This question comes up a lot...and I haven't got all of my notes in one place yet so I'll give it a shot...

3.2 Engine 5750
Wiring harness 400
Headers 325
Sheet metal 350
Ceramic coating 250
Flywheel & bolts 430
Motor mount 200
Muffler gaskets 10
Exhaust gaskets 24
Fuel pump 110
Oxygen sensor 140
Clutch 272
3.2 Tach 80
Oil Tank 650
Neck & filler 200
Triple gauge 130
Exhaust 525
Oil Tank/Throttle Mods 400
Oil Cooler, fans, lines 700
$10946

For the engine and suspension swap I think I have about $13k in parts. I also incurred about $700 in shipping costs for the motor, wheels, suspension etc...

No offense to Andy, but we had a vote and all agree that Boxster anything on your plate is not cool.

It's kinda like pretending to be something you're not, in order to impress people who don't care.
